The 67th Annual Grammy Awards are quickly approaching, set to air on February 2, 2025, and this year’s nominations have created a buzz for what promises to be an unforgettable night of music. Leading the charge is Beyoncé, who continues to make Grammy history with her album Cowboy Carter, earning 11 nominations. With these new accolades, she becomes the most-nominated artist in the history of the Grammys.

Also making waves this year are Chappell Roan, Sabrina Carpenter, and Charli XCX, all of whom earned their first-ever nominations for Album of the Year. These rising stars will compete against the likes of Beyoncé, Billie Eilish, and Taylor Swift for the prestigious title, alongside Andre 3000 and Jacob Collier, who are also in the running, a surprising addition for some fans.

In addition to Album of the Year, Carpenter, Roan, and XCX have also been nominated for Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best New Artist—the “Big Four” categories of the Grammys. These three artists are the only ones to secure nominations across all these key categories this year, further cementing their places as the breakout talents of 2024.

However, the year hasn’t been all about pop and female artists. Country newcomer Shaboozey has made a significant impact with five nominations, including Best New Artist and Song of the Year for his viral hit “A Bar Song (Tipsy).”

Meanwhile, Kendrick Lamar, continuing his strong year, earned seven nominations, including nods for Song of the Year and Record of the Year for his track “Not Like Us,” which also reflects his ongoing cultural influence. He’s also lined up as the Super Bowl halftime headliner next year, following his Grammys run.

With seven nominations each, Lamar, Charli XCX, Post Malone, and Billie Eilish are not far behind Beyoncé, while Taylor Swift earned six nominations of her own.
