Alia Bhatt made a roaring return to the big stage and brought the house down with her electrifying ‘Naatu Naatu’ dance performance.
Dressed in her all-white Gangubai Kathiawadi avatar, the actress and new mom rocked a shimmery white saree and roses on her head as she took to the stage. Videos from the event that went viral online, saw Alia having a blast as she nailed the choreography to SS Rajamouli’s Oscar-nominated ‘RRR‘ song ‘Naatu Naatu’.

The upbeat performance came to a close with Ayushmann Khurrana and his brother Aparshakti Khurana also getting in the groove.

The grand performance, which was the actress’ first since giving birth to baby Raha last November, left fans in awe. “This woman had a baby just 4 months ago and look at her…” tweeted a fan in disbelief.

Another praised the actress saying, “Alia Bhatt is that one mass female superstar bhai.”

“Omg the swag,” added another.

On the work front, Alia has officially ended her maternity break and has resumed work on director Karan Johar‘s upcoming romantic film ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’. Taking to Instagram, Karan announced, “Shooting the last schedule of our film #rockyaurranikipremkahani.. a film I have directed after 7 years…shooting a song which is a homage to my favourite filmmaker of all times…Won’t say any more….”

The film sees Alia teaming up with Ranveer Singh for the first time. The movie also stars Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi in lead roles.

Initially, the movie was supposed to release on the eve of Valentine’s day 2023, but the makers delayed the release to April. The movie is now set to hit the big screen on July 28, 2023.
