Israel Condemns France's Call to Halt Arms Sales for Gaza Conflict as 'Disgraceful'

President of France Emmanuel Macron on Saturday said that’ weapons that are being transported to Israel for Gaza conflict should be halted as it is increasing death rate and threat to spread this war across other regions too. ‘Netanyahu did not like these remarks and he hit on the French president that other nations should support us. Iran is a terror group, it is, or not, that is not confirmed. But Israel is putting all the weight on Iran for this.

According to Netanyahu, he said,’ Shame on them,’ on those who are trying to halt the situation and said that weapons should be stopped. This will cease fire in Gaza.

Netanyahu said Israel will win with or without their support,’ he reports this from a pre-recorded video from his office. He also added that calling for an arms embargo was a disgrace.’

Macron said that France has halted the shipping of weapons to Israel; the priority was ‘to get back on to a political solution that arms used to fight. They dies not ship anyway.

According to Macron, ‘Our priority is to avoid escalation. the Lebanese people must not in turn be sacrificed, Lebanon cannot become another Gaza.

According to the Defence of ministry’s annual arms exports,’ France is not a major weapons provider for Israel, shipping military equipment worth $33 million last year.

Macron’s comment arrived when his foreign minister Jean Noel Barrot was on a four-day trip to the Middle East, wrapping up on Monday in Israel; as Paris looks to play a role in reviving diplomatic efforts.
