Jason Kelce wants to maintain a good relationship with Taylor Swift, despite the close connection through his brother, Travis Kelce, who has been dating the pop star for over a year.
While the “You Need to Calm Down” singer has become a part of the Kelce family, Jason recently revealed there’s one thing he won’t do when it comes to Taylor.
On the Nov. 25 episode of The Rich Eisen Show, the 37-year-old former NFL player shared that he doesn’t entertain requests for Taylor Swift tickets. “Thankfully I don’t get a lot of people reaching out for Taylor Swift tickets,” Jason said. “It’s an immediate no, but I don’t get a lot of that.”
However, despite this boundary, Jason acknowledged that Taylor has graciously offered to help out. “As much as Taylor has said she will take care of anybody that I ask for,” he mentioned. “She’s great. But I still say no to everybody. I’m not gonna be the one to impose on that.”
Jason, who shares three young children with his wife, Kylie, praised Taylor for being kind and thoughtful toward their family. “She’s been nothing but lovely to our family. She’s a wonderful person, and I don’t want that to be a dynamic,” he said, stressing that he’s careful not to overstep by asking for special treatment. “Where’s the line? Exactly,” he added. “So I’m not even broaching the line. I’m staying away from the line.”
Since retiring in March, Jason has stayed busy with his ventures, including cohosting the New Heights podcast with his brother Travis, and recently taking on a new role as cohost of Monday Night Football on ESPN. In January, he will also host his own late-night show, They’re Calling It Late Night With Jason Kelce.
Reflecting on the whirlwind of events over the past two years, Jason said, “Between the podcast, the Super Bowl with Travis, and Travis dating Taylor, it has been a very whirlwind of events for sure.”
