Understanding Why Palestinians Refuse to Leave Their Land

As more Israel tries to make the lives of Palestinian people miserable and impossible, the more Palestinians will resist leaving the land.

In one year of the ongoing war between Israel and Gaza, Israel has killed more than 42000 people in Palestine but according to an estimate, the total number of people who died is 180,000 calling it the worst death toll. At the same time, Israeli forces have carried out several bloody assaults on the West Bank. Killing more than 740 people in Palestine. last month, Israel escalated its violence into Lebanon, where on September 23, they killed more than 500 people. They are killing people with cruelty; they have killed more than 2000 Lebanese people in just two weeks.

The Israeli forces have shattered the whole region of Gaza and its surroundings, digging out the roads, bombing buildings and houses, destroying utility installations and pulverizing residential buildings. Health services and educational facilities have been obliterated, and water systems, electricity plants and solar panels have been destroyed. In simple, Israel is trying to abandon the whole regions of Gaza and Palestine. They are making life impossible for Palestinians.

Palestinians were given orders that they had to evacuate the towns from the vast areas of the Gaza strip and they were shifted to 16% of the area. The same crisis is now going on in Lebanon and West Bank.

They have convinced people that they can come back to their places once the Israeli operations are halted. However, the worst fact that we all know is, that they are slaughtering because they want to empty the land for colonization. This is not happening for the first time, in 1948, such an incident happened where Palestinians were asked to leave the land for a short time, after that they were never allowed to come back that is why it was called Naqba and was considered the black day of Palestine. That’s the reason that Palestinian people do not trust anyone now, they are ready to die but will not leave the land where they live.
